Morristown is located just 2.7 miles from Cedar Knolls. Lewis Morris Dog Park has everything your furry four-legged friend needs for a fantastic time outside! This fully-fenced space gives dogs a place of their own to run and socialize leash-free. A separately fenced spot takes care of the small dogs' needs. The ground here is paved. Grass and trees surround the park and lend to its natural appeal. Waste stations supplied with waste baggies make it easy to clean up after your pawed pal. The main park will excite an avid hiker out to explore its twelve miles of dedicated trails. A leash is required in the main park areas.

Beverwyck

Parsippany is located eight miles north of Cedar Knolls. Cameron Dog Park calls out to pooches needing a nice run outside.This leash-free dog park is fully fenced for some safe off-leash play. The ground is luscious green grass which grows tall in the summer sun. The dog park has a separately fenced enclosure for safer play for the small dogs. Water is provided for both humans and canines. A few agility pieces, such as a plastic tunnel, give dogs a chance to check out something new. Waste stations are fully stocked with waste baggies. This dog park requires a permit to use. Registration is with the city.

Mountainside

Mountainside is fifteen miles south of Cedar Knolls. Three acres of nature barks out to your furry pal at Echo Lake Dog Park! This large, grassy area is fully fenced for dogs to exercise and socialize unimpeded by a leash. A small dog area is set aside for them, too. This dog park features water fountains and bowls for people and their dogs. Plenty of shaded benches and a gazebo make the human companions comfortable. Echo Lake Park is one of the Union County parks. It has nice walking areas along the river and through some forested pathways. A leash is required outside the dog park.

Bellevue Ave

A trip eighteen miles east of Cedar Knolls will take you and your pup to Montclair, NJ, which is home to Brookdale Dog Park. This fully fenced dog park lets your dog rid the leash and sniff out some new pals. The ground here is a gravel mulch, which resists moisture after a rain. A few pieces of agility equipment are available for training or just for some extra fun. Water is available for human and canine. Waste stations chock full of baggies remind people to do their "dooty" and clean up after their furry family member. Numerous shaded benches keep people happy while their pup runs and plays in one of the two separate areas for large and small breeds.
Riverside Avenue East

Riverside Avenue East

Lyndhurst is twenty-four miles east of Cedar Knolls. Riverside County Dog Park has something waiting for any pup who's anxious for some outdoor exercise! This park has a gravel mulch spot that is fully fenced for off-leash fun. A separate space is reserved for the small dogs. This dog park has water and a hose for a quick rinse off. Many toys, such as frisbees and balls, are left around the dog park for some added fun.  Plenty of trees give some shade to the benches scattered throughout the park. A walk on-leash along the Passaic River caps off the day of play.
