Hi, I'm Meaghan! I started dog walking and sitting for my neighbors when I was 12 years old and I have been in love with it ever since! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from a 2 year old chihuahua named Lola to a fully grown boxer named Tatlua. I love meeting new dogs and catering to each one's needs. I would love to keep your pet healthy, fit and above all happy. Most importantly, I will treat your dog with love and care. I promise to make sure your experience with Wag is as positive as possible.
Whippany is an unincorporated community that, along with Cedar Groves, makes up Hanover Township. The community has one veterinary hospital which provides both routine and emergency care, as well as five community parks.
Black Brook Park has eleven acres of green space. A person and a leashed dog can take a leisurely stroll on a walking path that encircles the perimeter of the park. Looking for more adventure? Bee Meadow Park has over seventy acres of open grassy spaces that welcome leashed dogs. A stocked lake is another popular attraction. Central Park has decorative gazebos and a walking path. Malapardis Park has a stocked pond, numerous picnic sites, and an easy, paved walking path. Monroe Park is another option, although it's a little smaller than the other parks.
In addition, Whippany offers travelers with furry family members a couple of dog-friendly hotels! Extended Stay America, located on Route 10, welcomes up to two dogs of any size for a fee of $25 per dog per night. Red Carpet Inn allows dogs of any size to stay for a fee of $10 per dog per night.
Whether you're looking to visit or make a home, Whippany has something good to offer families with a fur-baby!
