Beverwyck

Parsippany is located six miles north of Whippany. Cameron Dog Park has some great outdoor activities that will have your hound howlin' with happiness! This dog park has a natural terrain of clover and grass. A fully fenced large dog area lets those big fellas rid themselves of their leash. A separately fenced area gives the small dogs their own safe space, too.  The park has water available on-site. A plastic tunnel attracts the more curious noses. Waste baggies are also supplied by the dog park. The park could use a few benches and shade, but the dogs have a blast playing with their canine kind. This dog park requires prior registration and a fee payable to the city.

Morristown

Morristown is six miles west of Whippany. Lewis Morris Dog Park can be found in Lewis Morris County Park. This is the pawfect place to let Fido have some off-leash fun! It has a large dog section and an area separately fenced for smaller dogs. The ground in the dog park is mostly paved, with some patches of grass. Trees are located around the edges of the park. Benches for the human companions are also scattered inside the enclosures. This dog park does not have water available on-site, but it can readily be obtained in the main park's restrooms. Waste stations have plenty of doggie waste bags for convenient pick-ups.

Bellevue Ave

Montclair is located fourteen miles east of Whippany. Brookside Dog Park is one of the area's most pupular destinations for families with pooches. This dog park is fully fenced with an enclosure for large dogs and another for small. Several pieces of agility equipment make for some extra training or just give dogs some variety in the exercise. The gravel mulch surface makes this an ideal place to visit even after a rain -- no muddy paws to deal with! Drinking water is available in the park. Pet parents are treated with many shaded benches. Waste stations are amply stocked with waste bags for those necessary clean-ups.

Riverside Avenue East

Lyndhurst is located twenty-one miles east of Whippany. Riverside Dog Park has dogs begging for more time to play! This off-leash dog park has a fully fenced space for large dogs. Small doggos have their own separately fenced space, too. The surface is a clean gravel mulch. Toys abound for human and dog interaction -- nothing like a frisbee or ball to go after! Hoses provide water and a good rinse off before going home. The human companions have plenty of shaded benches from which to supervise their dogs as they play and make a few new pals. A person and a leashed dog can cap off the trip with a walk along the banks of the scenic Passaic River.

Woodbridge

Woodbridge is located thirty-three miles south of Whippany. Woodbridge Dog Park has two fully fenced enclosures for dogs' off-leash play and exercise. One section is for the large dogs and a separately fenced area lets the small pups play safely. Colorful and challenging agility equipment lets dogs train or just try out something new. Plenty of shaded benches keep the human companions happy. This dog park features water fountains and waste stations stocked with plenty of doggie waste bags. The luscious green grass that sprouts in the spring make even a senior dog want to take a roll. Nearby decorative white gazebos add to the relaxing ambiance.
