Denville City Limits

A hungry person can make reservations for two -- human and canine -- at several dog-friendly restaurants in town. Denville Pizzeria & Restaurant, located at 20 Diamond Spring Road, has four outdoor tables ready that welcome a person and pup. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and serves a variety of Italian cuisine. Casa D'Pizza and Bensi are two other Italian restaurants with dog-friendly dining for lunch and dinner. Bensi is located on NJ-10 and has seven outdoor tables ready to seat your and your four-legged pal. Beignets, also located on Broadway, has two outdoor dog-friendly tables. This sweet spot has desserts, coffees, and a variety of drinks.

Beverwyck

Parsippany is located six miles east of Denville. Cameron Dog Park adds some wiggle to a dog's backside when this fully fenced play place comes into sight! This dog park has two fully fenced enclosures for off-leash freedom. A separately fenced area keeps the smaller dogs safe. Large expanses of grass stretch out over some flat places and hillside. Water is available for dogs and their people. Waste stations are fully stocked with doggie waste baggies. Benches give the human companions a place from which to watch their pups play with those of their own kind. This dog park is a membership-only dog park. Registration and a small fee must be paid to the city prior to visiting.

Morristown

Morristown is located eleven miles south of Denville. Lewis Morris Dog Park gives a pup a place to play leash-free with other friendly members of a new pack! The ground in the dog park is paved -- some of the human companions don't like it very much, but, unlike other dog parks, this one doesn't become a sea of mud after a hard rain. A separately fenced area helps keep the small dogs safe, too. Water is not immediately available inside the dog park, but the main park has restrooms open all year round. The dog park keeps the waste stations fully stocked with waste baggies for those necessary pick-ups.

Bellevue Ave

Montclair is nineteen miles east of Denville. Brookdale Dog Park is a pawesome dog park that attracts people and their pups from all over New Jersey! It is a popular place for people to unclip the leash and let their furry friends get some exercise while sniffin' out a new furry buddy or two. A separately fenced enclosure is reserved for the smaller dogs. Brookdale's surface is covered with a gray mulch that keeps dogs pretty clean even after a hard day of playing. Water is provided at the park.  Waste stations supply the doggie waste baggies, making pick-ups a snap. Agility equipment for extra exercise or training makes this free dog park pawfect destination.

Mountainside

Mountainside is about twenty-two miles south of Denville. Echo Lake Dog Park has almost three acres grass, dirt, flowers, weeds, and trees which give pups some fresh air for leash-free running and playing with their own kind. Smaller dogs have a separately reserved space for safer play. The dog park features plenty of shaded benches where the human folk can enjoy their day outdoors. Drinking water for people and their pups are provided in the dog park. The park also has water bowls for the four-legged friends to share. A decorative gazebo gives another spot for some R & R for the human companions.
