Hello there! My name is Nick and I love dogs! They have always been a part of my life and seem to naturally like me. I’d say I’m a good alpha and they always seem to listen to me very well. How different dogs should be treated comes intuitively to me as I have a knack for reading body language. I have moved to Portland about five months ago now, in which time I’ve been walking dogs with my girlfriend who is our neighborhood dog walker. I’ve met many different dogs throughout this time which has increased my knowledge of handling all sorts of different breeds. I hope to give your dogs a fantastic break and make their walks as enjoyable as possible. My goal is to make your dogs as happy as I can because I know these breaks mean a lot more than we could ever know to these little guys. That, as well as my love for all living things, is why I will be sure to give them the best experience possible!

I am a life-long dog (animal) lover and owner. I have had my own dogs for 20 years, I have fostered a couple times, and volunteered with an inner city shelter which has provided me with a great deal of experience with all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. Above all, and most importantly, dogs are my favorite and I treat them all like they're my own. I consider many of the dogs I walk like best friends and genuinely love them and look forward to walking with them :)

I fell in love with dogs at an early age. I would dogsit for neighbors and was over the moon when my parents finally adopted a family dog. As an adult, I rescued a 1 year old hound mix from the PSPCA in 2015. She is wild and crazy, but I can't imagine my life without her. I would love the opportunity to get to know your dog and love him or her like my own.

Hi you guys, I am a loving and caring person from the fast paced streets of New York City. Dogs have always been a soft spot of mine because they are the cutest and most adorable animals ever. Having a dog of my own I treat him as my own child making sure he is always cared for no matter what I have to do. The same way I care for and treat my dog is the same aspects I want to share with your dog on our walks. I want to share this with you and your dog in just a wag of a tail. I look forward to walking your furry friend until then have a sun filled day.

Dog Walking in High Bridge

The diminutive town of High Bridge has some big opportunities for activities for a person and pup. Veterinary services are limited to one mobile veterinary provider. However, neighboring communities will take care of any health need your canine friend may experience.

High Bridge is a historic rail town -- one that has shrunken along with the need for railway transport. The Columbia Trail was born out of the death of rail transport that serviced communities like High Bridge. The trail has fifteen miles of hiking available, which provide scenic outdoor exercise along the Raritan River.

Taylor Steelworkers Historic Greenway is a 5.5-mile trail that starts at the Columbia Trail and winds around the town. The Taylor trail connects with High Bridge's other parks, and hikers will get a view of the many historic buildings in High Bridge along the way.

Some shorter trails can be found in the thousand acres of South Branch Reservation. The reservation is divided into several sections, each with its own amenities and trails. The Arches has a very short trail to the river and is notable for its stone arches built to accommodate train traffic. This section is very popular with people who fish. A picnic table makes it an enjoyable place to spend some time with a best four-legged friend.

In town, Circa on Main Street serves some elegant French cuisine in a fun casual atmosphere. Dog-friendly outdoor tables welcome diners with furry friends. High Bridge, though small, is a great place to visit for its historic significance and its many activities for a person with a dog.
