“Your friendly neighborhood dog walker”

I started pet sitting when I was in high school. Several of my friends had dogs that I would care for while they were away. To make extra money in college I began to walk and then board a local Shiba Inu; a gig I kept until I started working full time. I have always loved animals, but was unable to have any as a child because of allergies some of my family members have. Now my wife and I currently have two dogs (a beagle and a havanese/poodle mix), three cats, two rabbits, and a conure.

Hello! My name is Suzanne! My background starts when I was a child. We had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I learned how to care for her. It went on where I became the reliable kid in the neighborhood taking care of not only dogs but horses, goats cats, turtles, chickens, frogs, fish etc. I loved it. My passion began. As I grew into high school I worked in my first dog kennel for several years always attention to not only impeccable cleanliness but most especially, love and affection to the dogs and cats. I always stayed late on my own time to give special attention. I loved the very hard work and all my furry friends. I then went on to work in three separate dogs facilities throughout my life. Not only working there but also pet sitting and training. My bond with dogs always came naturally to me, as well as to the dogs towards me. They always loved me. I have never been bitten and dogs seem to love me on sight. One such place I worked was a cage free doggie day care facility where I would watch approximately 30 dogs at a time. There I really honed my skills about dog behavior. I could tell just by body language, exactly how they were feeling. I would always immediately act on this as appropriate. I am now a Wag Walker and I love it! Not only do I give a walk but also train on the walk. I take my time attending to each of the individual needs of the pup. I’m not all about the money, again, it’s a love, a passion that’s been life long and enduring. I always talk to the dogs on my walk, developing an even deeper bond with each pooch to further deepen our love for one another. Relaxing them with calm affirmations and also using my tone and actions for appropriate corrections to further better leash manners for the moms and dads of the pooch. My attention to every detail and nuance is pronounced in my extremely thorough report cards. In them you will receive behaviors observed and corrections made, physical well being on the walk and what condition the poop is in as far as consistency, color, which is the first sign to overall health. I give suggestions if needed and ideas on how to make you furry child be the best they can be in all facets. Improving the overall health, care, and behavior are very important and I pay very close attention to everything. I’m not on my cell phone... I watching the dogs every step. I’m a little fanatical about how they are doing at all times. It’s not about the money, that’s just a bonus, it’s genuine love, and again, a lifelong passion.

“Dogs make this crazy world manageable.”

Dogs have always been very special to me. Before I moved, I couldn’t have a dog where I lived , so I joined Wag to have an opportunity to spend time with other people’s dogs! Now that I have moved to my forever home, I have adopted a puppy named Rosie! I have a degree in Animal Science and have owned several dogs in my lifetime, including a 155lb. Black Russian Terrier named Biggie. I’ve had dog training classes where I learned commands and safety measures. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

Dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish, rodents - you name it, I have had one or two (or three) apart of my family. I get along with animals better than I do most people. I love caring for animals and believe they love me caring for them just as much.

Hi, my name is Rebecca! I have grown up and currently live in Kendall Park, NJ with my Bichon mix Daisy. I’ve been walking and petting sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for about six years. I love being able to help others and help them be worry free while they are not able to spend time with their furry family memeber. I have experience a variety of dogs in size, breeds, and ages. I have a flexible schedule and am very comfortable and confident in managing dogs. I am familiar with understanding dogs behavior and use this to anticipate situations that may arise. During my time dog sitting I love to give each dog plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime all in a safe manner. I love to exercise and walk and would love to accompany your furry loved one during their daily stroll. Furthermore, I would go above and beyond to provide a secure walk and positive walk all while keep your dog happy during our time together!

I am a life-long dog (animal) lover and owner. I have had my own dogs for 20 years, I have fostered a couple times, and volunteered with an inner city shelter which has provided me with a great deal of experience with all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. Above all, and most importantly, dogs are my favorite and I treat them all like they're my own. I consider many of the dogs I walk like best friends and genuinely love them and look forward to walking with them :)
