Pennington City Limits

Dogs living in Pennington are lucky because they get to play at Rosedale Dog Park! This five-acre masterpiece of a dog playground features a large and small dog area for leash-free fun and exercise. The two areas are double-gated for safe entry. The area is an expansive green grass field. Manmade hills lessen the flatness of the landscape. Tunnels and an obstacle course adds to the exercise. A doggie-engineered water fountain makes hydration just a lick away. Human companions will find sanctuary in the gazebo positioned in the middle of the dog park. Picnic tables are scattered throughout for easy supervision of your playing pup.

Old Trenton Road

West Windsor is located fourteen miles east of Pennington. Locals with pups know that Mercer County provides some park gems to explore!  Mercer County Dog Park offers dogs two fully fenced spots just for their off-leash socialization, exercise, and (of course) fun. One side of the park is reserved for smaller dogs. Both sides of the dog park have agility equipment. A few ramps and jumps help keep your furry friend in top condition! The dog park has mostly grassy terrain with some gravel. Water fountains serve canines and their thirsty human companions. Benches are situated around the perimeter of the park. Shade, unfortunately, is in short supply.

White Horse

Hamilton is located fifteen south of Pennington. Veterans Memorial Dog Park has enough fun packed into it to make any pup's day! This large dog park is fully fenced--so off with the leash and get going! There is a double-gated entrance to prevent an excited pup from heading the wrong way. A smaller section is set aside for the smaller dogs, too. The dog park is mostly grass and features agility equipment. Ramps, tunnels, and an obstacle course will sharpen Fido's skills or just add to the fun. Human companions will be well-served by the numerous benches and picnic tables positioned throughout the park. Waste baggies are also provided by the park.

Somerset Hills Bedminster

Somerset is located twenty-three miles north of Pennington. Your fur-baby will find a good time at the Colonial Dog Park. This large, fully fenced enclosure lets your pup explore leash-free. A cute statue of a dog bears the rules of the dog park and greets all visitors. A separately fenced enclosure is reserved for the smaller dogs. The land is mostly grassy and flat with some dirt patches. A few trees lend their shade here and there.  People have metal benches on which to sit and watch their playing pups.  Waste stations supply waste baggies, but there is no water immediately on-site.

Green Brook City Limits

Green Brook is located thirty-six miles north of Pennington. Central Bark gives dogs a woof-wonderful time exercising off-leash and finding a new pal. This dog park has two separately fenced areas. The large and small dog spaces are fully fenced for leash-free exercise and play. The park has a double-gated entry. Mud can be an issue in this dog park, so bring a towel if visiting in bad weather. Water is available on-site. Most amenities are located in the large dog enclosure, including a pavilion and numerous places for people to sit in the shade. A walking track adds to the exercise opportunities. This dog park is also lighted for early evening activities.
