Pluckemin
The Pluckemin neighborhood in Bedminster is about ten miles north of Raritan. The Burnt Mills Dog Park takes a bite out of those pent-up blues. This half-acre of ground is fully fenced so your pup can get out and really run off some energy -- all sans leash! Other canine friends coexist in the space with no separate area for smaller pups. Playing nicely is the big rule here! The dog park is an all-natural surface with predominantly grass and dirt. This pooch play area is a bare-bones one with no water immediately available on-site. Waste stations supply doggie waste baggies to help keep the grounds nice.36

Bedminster
Bedminster is but ten miles from Raritan. Visitors to the River Road Dog Park will find a basic property claimed by pups for leash-free exercise. The dog park has a single area that puts some woof back into a dog ready to get outside and make a few new furry pals! The half-acre will certainly give those paws an exciting stretch. This natural ground invites dogs of all sizes to come out and play. No separately fenced section secures the smaller dogs, so good supervision of your pup is extra important. The human companions will find plenty of benches from which to keep an eye on things. No water is in the dog park itself.24

Somerset Hills Bedminster
Somerset is located twelve miles south of Raritan. A statue of a pup greets visitors to the lovely Colonial Dog Park. This landscaped dog park bedazzles the human eye, but dogs dash past the statue for the freedom found therein. This fully fenced dog park lets all dogs have some fun free of the inhibition of the leash. A separately fenced section keeps the smaller dogs secure for their playtime. This flat grassy field has a few trees which help bring some shade. Human companions have benches and picnic tables from which to watch their canine pals play. Waste stations provide waste baggies for those necessary clean-ups. No water is within the dog park.12
