Ann Van Middlesworth Park has a one-mile walking trail where you and your dog can stretch your legs. The park also features heated restrooms, playgrounds, and ball fields. You can fish at the pond, too. Your children might like taking advantage of the skatepark while they are here. You do have to have your dog on a leash at all times. It is your responsibility to clean up after your dog. This is a furrific place to come and spend a few hours if you just want to enjoy the sunshine. The locals love this place because it is so well-maintained.

Montgomery Road

Otto's Farm Trails is a series of trails that are open to the public. It was once private land that was donated. Along the trails, there are many small streams and wooded areas that Fido will love exploring. It is a barktastic place to get some exercise and a have a little adventure. You'll need to keep your dog leashed at all times on the trails, but she probably won't mind too much. You'll also need to clean up after your dog, so make sure to bring plenty of waste bags. A water bottle is a must, too, since there's no drinking water available along the way.

Woodfield Park

Lenny's Pizza and Pasta is a grrreat place to come and get pizza by the slice. Or, you can try a steak sandwich or some barktastic pasta options. They even allow you to bring your dog with you to get a slice of cheesy goodness. Of course, your canine companion will need to be leashed. This is a BYOB establishment, but it is family-friendly. You should definitely try the wings because they fall right off the bone! With so much to try, you may want to stop in a couple of times while you are in Hillsborough. Don't forget to bring a water dish for Fido!

Amwell Road

Tender Lovin' Grill is a cozy little restaurant. This spot offers a wide variety of chicken tenders and sauces that will leave you full and happy. You can also get chili, sandwiches, and even homemade potato wedges. The menu certainly doesn't disappoint! Your dog can join you at any of the outdoor tables, but she will need to be on a leash. You can bring her food dish if you want to order her a meal. The wait staff is always ready to give belly rubs to friendly dogs! The only issue you might have is that this place tends to get busy around lunchtime.

Hamilton Township

If you find that you just need a good old-fashioned dog park, then you will have to take a 24-mile trip over to Hamilton. This is where you will find Veterans Memorial Park. There are several trails, a playground, and even picnic areas where your dog can join you as long as they are on a leash. The double-gated dog park on-site has lots of room to run, in addition to agility equipment and water stations. Doggie waste bags are provided at each trash can. Shaded benches are provided so that you can watch your pet play. All you need to bring is your pup and plenty of energy to play!
