Meredith is an excellent dog-walker! Zoltan took to her immediately, and she knows what she is doing. She is very professional, walks at a brisk pace, and handled Zoltan very well. He is a grown pitbull mix and around 65 pounds and she had no problem walking him. We are going to try to book her again for all of his walks!

The 78 acre Buccleuch Park is home to a number of different sports facilities, a playground, a rock garden, picnic areas and a walking trail that stretches out for one and a half miles. For pooches who love nature, a visit to the flower garden is a must, because not only will you see so many gorgeous flowers here, but also an incredible number of pollinators, from hummingbirds to butterflies. Buccleuch Park is also the site of a former Colonial Estate, known as Buccleuch Mansion, which has recently been restored. While your pup will not be allowed on tours within the house, the two of you can still explore its historic grounds.
Upper Diamond
Upper Diamond
There are a couple of parks in the Upper Diamond neighborhood that your pooch will absolutely love. The first is Feaster Park, where you will find a few sports facilities and a play area. The rest of the park features a mix of grassy lawns interspersed with trees, providing Fido with plenty of exciting smells to get that tail wagging. Just a few blocks away from here is the Joyce Kilmer Park, which is home to similar facilities as Feaster Park, but with smaller green areas for your pooch to explore. Dogs are welcome in both of these parks, but do need to be kept on a lead at all times.

One of the highlights of this neighborhood is Kossuth Park, where you will find a sports field, a play area, and a grassy section with trees and a walking trail. After exploring the park, treat Fido to a meal at one of the neighborhood's dog-friendly restaurants. For a Mediterranean feast, Sahara Restaurant is the place to go, with its large outdoor patio, while Fritz's is perfect for a quick and casual bite to eat.
Downtown New Brunswick

If you and Fido are feeling hungry, there are a couple of dog-friendly restaurants nearby to check out. For some authentic tapas at a bright and stylish restaurant, head to Esquina Latina, while Panico's Pizza will satisfy any Italian food cravings you may be having.
