Surrounded by rivers and amazing sunsets, Parlin is a great destination for pups and their families. Just an hour from Philadelphia, this small town offers friendly neighbors and plenty of space for Fido to walk and play. Keeping your pup healthy and happy is important, but you will need to travel a few minutes outside of Parlin for your pooch’s medical needs. You can find two great veterinarians in the nearby town of Sayreville.

If you are looking for a park in the area, Sayreville Kennedy Park is great for walking laps and giving your pooch some exercise. The peace and quiet are just what you need after a busy day at work, and strolling around the lake provides amazing views. The park also features a skate park and a playground where the kids can run around.

When searching for a cool treat, head over to Rita’s Italian Ice on Washington Road. You can enjoy several flavors of Italian ice, soft serve custard, or cream ices on the outdoor patio with Fido.

Parlin is a quaint town near the water where families can enjoy walking along the river with their pooch and socializing with friends and neighbors.
