Previously a vacant lot where refuse and rubble got dumped, the site is now a beautiful space where South Plainfield's canine residents and visitors can run, play, and socialize off-leash safely. The park is divided into two sections, one for large pooches and the other for small ones, while the ground is half gravel and half grass. Benches for the humans and drinking water for the dogs are provided as well. The Southside Dog Park is open daily, so you and Fido can drop by any day of the week.
