Fanwood is a small and historic town, with many buildings dating back to the Victorian era. In addition to its magnificent architecture, Fanwood also boasts lush green parks, a dog-friendly restaurant, and a reputable animal hospital, making this a great area to take your pooch to.

Your dog will love spending some time at the Forest Road Park. There are sports facilities and a playground here, as well as a walking path for you and Fido to stroll on.

The Fanwood Nature Center is also worth a visit, and you will find a wide range of plants and wildlife here, as well as a beautiful walking trail. While dogs are allowed to use the trail and explore the park, they must be kept on a lead at all times, and make sure to bring some doggie bags and drinking water with you.

If you would like to treat your pup to a meal, Mara's Café and Bakery has four dog-friendly tables. Although they specialize in breakfast dishes, their artisan lunches are equally tasty, and they are always willing to provide a bowl of cold water for dogs.

With its peaceful and laid-back vibe, Fanwood is pawfect for pooches who want to enjoy a few relaxing dog walks, with both urban and rural surroundings to choose from.
