Mountainside is a five-mile drive north of Clark. Echo Lake Dog Park has three acres of fully fenced grass so your pooch can enjoy some off-leash freedom. Dogs can run their paws off in this extra large dog park! There is a separate area for the small dogs to play safely in the grass. There are water fountains designed for both people and pups. Doggie waste bags are supplied for quick cleanups. Pet parents can easily find a comfortable seat in a shaded spot from which to supervise their doggo at play.  The main park offers more adventure, with several walking paths to explore.  A leash is required outside the dog park.

Just 9 miles south of Clark is the Woodbridge Township. Woodbridge Dog Park on Cliff Road is the destination for some doggone delightful off-leash activity! This dog park features two fully fenced, grassy enclosures for some leash-free fun, socialization, and exercise. A separate area is set aside for smaller dogs. Agility equipment situated in the large dog enclosure challenges pups and adds to the workout. Water is available for all to drink, and waste stations are amply stocked with those mutts-needed doggie bags. People will find many shaded places to sit. A decorative gazebo can be an oasis on one of those hot summer days.

Nineteen miles north of Clark is Montclair, home to Brookdale Dog Park on Bellevue Avenue. Pups will go crazy for this pawesome park! This fully fenced dog park has plenty of room for your pup run and play with some furry pals leash-free. The dog park has a separate enclosure for the small dogs, too. The surface of the dog park is mostly gravel with a few patches of dirt and grass. A few pieces of agility equipment add to the entertainment. The dog park has a water fountain designed for humans and dogs, and provides plenty of waste baggies for convenient cleanups.  Human companions will find comfortable shaded seats from which to supervise their pups.

Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst is twenty-three miles north of Clark. Riverside Bark Park is located within the Riverside County Park. This dog park offers dogs a fun leash-free experience in a fully fenced enclosure. There is a separate section for small dogs. The ground in the dog park is fine gray gravel. This is a great surface for play days after a big rain--no muddy paws! Drinking water and bowls are available in the dog park. An assortment of toys like balls and frisbees are also available for use. Human companions have some options for shaded seating around the perimeter of the dog park. A leashed walk outside the dog park on one of the paths by the river makes for an added bonus to a furtastic day.
Morristown

Morristown

Lewis Morris Dog Park, located 23 miles away in Morristown and part of the larger County Park, is the destination all doggos long to visit! Locals love this park, so your pooch is sure to make some new canine companions while playing off-leash here. A smaller area is set aside for the small dogs. There is water available on-site, but the seating could be better for the human companions. The dog park has convenient waste stations with waste baggies, so all you need to bring is plenty of energy to play! After a good leash-free run, a leashed dog and their person can check out the numerous trails that wind through the woods in County Park.
