“Dog walking is no job - it's a passion!”

Hi there! I have been walking dogs in Hoboken, NJ for 4 years now, which I absolutely love! I have had an endearing love for dogs since 2001 when my parents finally gave into the many pleas of my two younger brothers and I to get us a dog. We were introduced to Tiki, a magnificent Black Labrador, who became the sister we never had.

People who live with a canine have many options for outdoor exercise in Linden, which is home to a whopping fourteen parks. Some do have limits on access for dogs, though, so check before you go. John Russell Wheeler Park is one of Linden's larger parks. This park provides some green space included lighted areas. Paved walking paths make it easy for you to walk Fido. Remember to keep your furry friend on a leash at all times and clean up. A lake with catch-and-release fishing access makes for a great lazy afternoon outing with your pup.

More great outdoor fun can be found at the 204-acre Union County park, Warinanco Park. This park straddles several municipalities and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, and places to picnic under some canopy of green. Several walking trails of varying degrees of length and difficulty will help keep your canine friend get fit for his next visit to the one veterinarian in town.

Hungry people with pups in tow can head on over to the Miller's Ale House. This Fido-friendly restaurant has many outdoor tables that welcome a person dining with a four-legged companion. Miller's prides itself on its chicken zingers and sixteen different sauces. It also serves a variety of pasta, sandwiches, and salads. Seventy-five different types of beer are on the menu to complement the meal.

After a long walk in the park, a stop at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt may be just the right thing to do. This little shop offers a variety of tasty frozen yogurts and concoctions. Two outdoor tables welcome you and your pup.  For food or exercise, Linden is a great place for a person with a dog!
