A trip just five miles east of Pine Valley lies the small community of Berlin. This small community has some stops that need to be included on your doggie to-do list. The local park is a great place t play or walk up an appetite. Afterward, stop into town for an ice cream treat at The Cold Cow. Four outdoor tables will make your four-legged companion comfortable. Blackwood is located six miles west of Pine Valley. The huge dog park at Timber Creek Park will surely give your pup a good deal of fun in the sun and a lot of leash-free exercise! This dog park has nine acres of natural terrain which are completely enclosed for the best in off-leash playtime. No leash inhibits the canines in this dog park! All pups play together in this single space. The pack is playful here, and all exhibit the best of manners. Nine acres is enough space so a pup rarely gets under another's fur. The big city of Philadelphia is just a twenty-mile drive to the north of Pine Valley. Schuylkill River Dog Park attracts dogs from all over Philly and beyond. This favorite dog park has two wholly fenced spaces for your pup's outdoor exercise and fun. The dog park features a double-gated entry so no furry friend gets lost! The human companions will find plenty of shaded benches and picnic tables from which to supervise their pups' play. The surface of the dog park is mostly astroturf. Waste stations supply some environmentally-safe doggie bags, and a water fountain keeps all hydrated on even those hottest days. This phenomenal place for your fur-baby truly offers liberty from the leash. Twenty acres of fields and forest await your pup -- as long as your pooch can handle that much freedom. This dog park is not completely fenced -- pet parents will need to have good voice control. Also, all pups of every size play in this one area, so pawfect manners are a must! A water station in front of the property is a great convenience for two and four-legged visitors.
