Dog Areas in Pine Valley

This borough has only a dozen permanent residents.  No veterinary clinics will be found within its less than one square mile boundary.  However, any veterinary need, whether routine, emergency or specialized, is readily obtained within a thirty-minute drive to the neighboring larger boroughs and townships. A trip to Philly is just a twenty-mile drive.

Pine Valley is so tiny that all of its governmental departments are contained within one converted shingled farmhouse.  The visitors to Pine Valley, though, may have more than a few dollars in the bank. The majority of the land of the borough is occupied by the Pine Valley Golf Course.  This golf course is an exclusive club.  Membership to the club is by invitation only and is restricted to men. Other visitors to Pine Valley will have to look to the surrounding communities to get some activity with their pup.

Nature Trail Park is a free adventure for a person and a furry family member.  Nature Trail is located in Somerdale, just a five-mile journey to the north.  The trail is a heavily forested three-quarter of a mile trek.  The path is rock and dirt and is of moderate difficulty.  A few benches along the hike give a hiker and a worn-out pup a chance to get a second wind.

Another good option for some outdoor exercise is Berlin Park.  This park is located only five miles east of Pine Valley. Berlin has over 150 acres of recreational land.  Five miles of nature trails will give you and your pup plenty of fresh air and exercise amid some mature trees.  Your furry companion must remain on a leash for these excursions.

The huge dog park at Timber Creek Park will surely give your pup a good deal of fun in the sun and a lot of leash-free exercise!  This dog park has nine acres of natural terrain which are completely enclosed for the best in off-leash playtime. No leash inhibits the canines in this dog park! All pups play together in this single space.  The pack is playful here, and all exhibit the best of manners.  Nine acres is enough space so a pup rarely gets under another's fur.  Don't miss the swimming lake in the main park area.  It is a woof-wonderful cooling down experience!
