To go on an adventure with your pooch, head to the Lahontan State Recreation Area when you are in Fallon! This is a pawsome place for boating and water skiing, as well as having some fun with your pup around the Lahontan Reservoir. There is plenty of open space to play fetch with your doggo, as well as trails you can explore. There is also the oppawtunity to spot wildlife here, including deer, pelicans and wild horses. All furry friends can be top dog at Lahontan State Recreation Area, as long as they remain on leash. Don’t forget to bring some water for your panting pup; it can get hot in the desert!

To enjoy a furrific day out with your beloved companion, jump in the car and head west from Fallon to the puptown of Fernley! Here you will find the pawsome Fernley Out of Town Park where you can enjoy some exercise and playtime with your pooch.
