Less then two miles out of Depew is two great restaurants in Lancaster where you and Fido can grab a bite to eat. The Broadway Deli is a humble and cozy sandwich shop that has a ton of different options, including paninis, salads, and a lot of vegetarian options. The Yelling Goat is an award winning restaurant that dishes out some of the tastiest Berbere wings you will ever eat. Their menu also has New York style pizza and farm-to-table salads. Both of these great restaurants offer dog friendly patios and welcomes your furry friend to grab bite to eat with you.

Cheektowaga

If you and Fido are craving some delicious tacos, then head into Buffalo, which is three miles out of Depew, and stop into Mighty Taco. This pawsome eatery offers tacos, burritos, fajitas, and nachos for the two of you to enjoy. If you're looking for more variety when it comes to eating out, then make sure to check out Anderson's. Anderson's offers a menu with a wide variety of food that includes soups, sandwiches, burgers, and fish and chips. Don't forget to grab some ice cream before you leave as well. Both of these dogtastic restaurants are cool with your pup sticking by your side as you dive into a tasty meal.

Village of Williamsville

The Amherst State Park is a great spot to take your pup to for a nice day out in the fresh air and to get some exercise. This small park is 77-acres and offers tons of hiking trails for you and Fido to explore. Your dog will love exploring the wooded areas that are filled with wildlife, and get some good sniffs in as well. Make sure to keep your pup leashed while you are visiting the park, and bring clean-up bags since you can get fined if you don't clean up after your pooch. Fido will be tuckered out after exploring these trails with you.

Broadway/ Alleghany Rd

Thirteen miles out of Depew is the Darien Lakes State Park in Darien Center. This fantastic park offers great amenities for owners and pups which include camping, picnic tables, grills, a pavilion for shade, showers, playground, and a swimming beach. If you and Fido want to get a good day of exercise in, then take advantage of the hiking trails that meander throughout the park. Make sure to keep Fido on leash, and be aware that there is hunting at this state park, so keep your pup close. If you both love the park and don't want your day to end, then look into one of the campsites and stay for a night under the stars.

Bowmansville

The nearby town of Lancaster is home to two great eateries where you and your pup can grab a tasty bite to eat. Al-E-Oops has a large selection of American fare with a comfortable and lively restaurant ambiance. Their menu has tons of seafood and BBQ which your pup will be dying to get a taste of. Angry Buffalo at The Rose Garden is a casual saloon and restaurant that has pub dining and a great bar. They offer wings, tenders, burgers, and salads. Both of these dog friendly restaurants offer a patio where you and Fido can enjoy a nice meal together and go home feeling full and satisfied.
