Hollis Hills

Hollis Hills

Hollis Hills is a quiet, tranquil neighborhood tucked at the corner of Grand Central Parkway between Cunningham Park and Alley Pond Park. If your hound has been hankering to explore the forest, he'll go barking mad for Alley Pond Park! This spacious park is dog-friendly and mostly flat, with plenty of hidden spots and secrets to explore and sniff! You can let your pup off-leash here, but make sure he is under your voice control and you keep a close eye on him. When you've finally finished exploring, you'll probably be hungry. Luckily, you'll find Greek Family Restaurant just a skip and a hop away, which has a choice of amazing dishes and outdoor tables for you and your furry mutt!

Bayside

Bayside

Bayside is a furrific coastal neighborhood which enjoys nice weather and easy access to Little Neck Bay. The sprawling borough includes plenty of shops and eateries, as well as a few parks and recreation spots to have an adventure! Start with Fort Totten Park, offering bridge views and a dog park. The fenced area with two separate sections for small and large breeds is a great spot for chasing canine companions and making new friends! The park is covered in sand, and has drinking water facilities and little shade. After working up a good sweat (or pant!) at the dog park, hide from the sun and enjoy a sweet treat at one of the outdoor tables at Pesso’s Ices & Ice Cream.

It's also home to Cunningham Park, which is situated in the eastern region of the neighborhood. Here, you'll find Cunningham Park Dog Run, an off-leash park featuring a cool place to socialize with other canine friends, make a few new ones, and get some mutts-needed exercise! The fenced terrain offers plenty of space to run and play, and the park also provides comfortable seating for humans and drinking water for pooches! You'll need to bring your own waste bags to help keep the park nice and tidy for all visitors.

East Sands Point

East Sands Point

The scenic, coastal neighborhood of Sands Point is home to the Sands Point Preserve, which is an un-fur-gettable spot that you and your pup must visit while you're here.
