Three miles out of Williston Park is the New Hyde Park Memorial Park in the town of New Hyde Park, and a perfect park to visit with Fido for a nice walk. This dogtastic park features a basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and tons of grass that your dog will be super excited to run on. There are benches surrounding the park that you both can sit on, and don't forget to get a good walk in on the path that goes around the entire park. You will be shaded by plenty of trees in this fenced in park. Don't forget your water and clean-up bags when you visit.24
East Williston
The Roslyn Road Park in East Williston, just a mile from Williston Park, is a perfect place to visit for some afternoon sun. The park is mainly used for baseball games, and offers a huge baseball diamond with bleachers. Fido doesn't have to worry about his afternoon walk though since the park does offer a concert path around the diamond so you both can get a good walk in. The park is fenced in and does offer a parking lot right by it so you can easily get into the park.
