The Hempstead Lake State Park is a pawpular canine hangout in West Hempstead! Leashed dogs are welcome in the park’s designated dog-walk area near South Pond. You and Fido will have a woofderful time exploring the nature trails that meander through the beautiful wooded area and its adjacent wetlands. There is a small fee for parking at this state park.
