Village Center has a commercial district, schools, playgrounds, and some residential streets. There are sidewalks in the neighborhood where you can walk your leashed pup. When you want to give your furry friend some outdoor playtime with other pooches, head about 1.6 miles southeast to Bay Park, located on First Avenue. You'll find a fenced dog run on the east side of this Rockaway facility. There are separate sections here for small and large dogs where your pup can romp freely. The neighborhood between Lakeview Avenue and Ocean Avenue is primarily a residential area that borders Tanglewood Preserve to the east.
