Hi my name is Johanna. I'm currently a student at Stony Brook University for Nursing :) I've grown up with dogs all my life. I've been walking dogs since I was 15 and they are my absolute passion! I've worked as a dog walker and at a dog care facility! I look forward to working with all different types of dogs and especially yours!
The village of Lynbrook in Nassau County has a downtown area that's surrounded by residential neighborhoods. When you and Fido need a break from city life, there are several pet-friendly outdoor recreational facilities within 15 miles of town. There are two veterinary clinics here if you need professional care for your furry pal.
One area in the county where you can take your pup to get some off-leash exercise is Christopher Morley Park on Searingtown Road. This facility is about 11 miles north of town and includes a fenced dog run. Remember to bring bags to clean up your pal's waste.
About 12 miles to the west of Lynbrook, you'll find another park with an off-leash dog run. Head to Forest Park to treat your four-footed friend to some playtime with other canines. Dogs need to be licensed and up to date on vaccinations to use the facility.
Another pawesome park is located about ten miles east of here. Bring Fido to Wantagh Park on the water to get some fresh air and exercise. There's a dog run with separate fenced areas for small and large dogs in this facility. Bring waste bags to clean up after your pup.
For dog owners in Lynbrook, there are a variety of ways you can treat your canine companion to some recreational activity.
