Von Marie met Beans, for the first time and it honestly couldn t have gone more perfectly. From the moment she walked in, Von Marie was so warm, calm, and SUPER excited to meet him. Beans can be a little shy at first, but she was patient, gentle, and gave him the time he needed to feel comfortable. Within minutes, he was completely at ease with her. It was so sweet to see. Barrett Park is a pawsome spot to take your dog for a fun afternoon out. The park offers tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, benches, and a playground. There is a huge open space where Fido can play a game of fetch, and a nice walking path around the park where the two of you can take a walk before you head home. Make sure to bring water since there isn't a lot of shade at this park. Located in Valley Stream, and only two miles out of Woodmere, your dog won't mind the small car ride to this park.

Brookville

Check out Brookville Park to have a wonderful day out with your pup. The park offers some great amenities, like basketball courts, tennis fields, bocce courts, baseball areas, picnic tables, and a playground. The park offers a hiking path that you and your pup can use for a nice walk throughout the park, and Fido can get some exploring in. The park is covered in trees to help keep you and Fido cool. Located in Springfield Gardens, and only five miles out of Woodmere, your dog will love the mini adventure to check out this park.

Springfield Gardens

Take a short road trip just five miles out of Woodmere mto the Springfield Park in the nearby town of Springfield Gardens. The Springfield Park is the perfect park to visit with your pup. This puptastic spot features a pond, playground, tennis courts, and baseball fields. Your dog will love splashing around in the pond, or playing some fetch on the open grass space.
