“Dog walking is no job - it's a passion!”
Hi there! I have been walking dogs in Hoboken, NJ for over 2 years now, which I absolutely love! I have had an endearing love for dogs since 2001 when my parents finally gave into the many pleas of my two younger brothers and I to get us a dog. We were introduced to Tiki, a magnificent Black Labrador, who became the sister we never had.

I doubt you're ever gonna find anyone who loves dogs more than I do. I've lived with dogs my whole life, walked at least 100 of my friends dogs, read dog books, volunteered at the Humane society in Hawaii, donate to ASPCA monthly, and just love them like crazy. I'm used to walking between 35.000 to 45.000 steps a day and can't wait to start walking your little one.

I was raised on a farm in California, and I have been around dogs since I was a very young child. I have cared for dogs both professionally and for family, roommates and neighbors. I LOVE dogs, and I think they can sense when they meet a dog lover, which probably explains why they tend to love me as much as I love them. I look forward to spending time with your furry friend!

Hi there. My name is Dan. I go to school at GW, and I'm looking to walk some local pooches to help pay for school. I'm new to the world of professional pet care, but I'm no stranger to caring for dogs. I have a basset hound mix named Bon Bon back home (who I miss like crazy) that I've loved and cared for the past 8 years. I've also had experience sitting and walking dogs for neighbors and relatives. I look forward to getting out to meet some new pups and brighten their days.

Bellerose is an incorporated village located on the eastern border of Queens. The village of Bellerose has a population of just over 1,000, making it less densely populated than other areas of the Big Apple. Bellerose doesn't have many dog-friendly amenities within its 31 hectares, but you and Fido will find plenty of dog-friendly fun in nearby Queens. You won't have to travel out of the village to find quality vet care, though, since the community has its own animal hospital.
Put your pup on their leash and head over to Queens for a tour of its public recreation areas, many of which feature pet-friendly walking trails and nature paths to explore. Bellerose Playground is a simple park with plenty of daily visitors. If you want to avoid the crowd, head to the Glen Oaks neighborhood, home to the Enchanted Forest Dog Park, an amazing pet-friendly facility with a fence, grass, and loads of hounds to play with!
Jameson’s Bar and Grill in Floral Park, NY is the closest pub grub available near Bellerose. This simple but pet-friendly eatery has a very pawsitive attitude to four-legged customers at the outdoor tables, and offers an extensive menu of treats.
Hollis Hills is one of the biggest central neighborhoods of Queens, featuring recreation spots, quiet streets, and residential quarters. Alley Pond Park is a hidden gem in Queens, and home to miles of walking trails and a huge open space for pooches to run wild and explore nature, all off-leash! Make sure your buddy is under voice control, because the area is not fenced. If you are also looking for an adventure of the gastronomic variety, Greek Family Restaurant is a great place to travel to Greece without buying a ticket! You and your fur baby can enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in the outdoor seating area.
Take a deep breath of fresh air in the Fresh Meadows neighborhood, located in the very heart of Queens. Prepare to have lots of fun with Fido at Cunningham Park, an extensive green recreation area with multiple walking trails to explore on-leash and a dog park where your pooch can go wild! Cunningham Park Dog Run houses a huge grassy area for off-leash chasing and playing. If you don't want to get lost in this huge terrain -- the whole park is 358 acres! -- print or download a map of the park. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water? Why not bring a few friends, too? The more, the merrier!
Occupying a significant part of southern Westbury, Eisenhower Park is one of the favorite places among locals and tourists, with mind-blowing summer events and movie nights, more than 930 acres of open space with multiple walking trails, tennis and golf courses, swimming opportunities, and a cozy place for pups to play off-leash! The dog park is fully fenced, well-maintained, and welcomes visitors from dawn to dusk daily. There are plenty of hounds to play with here! Your day will be even better if you finish it with a visit to TGI Fridays, where you and Fido can enjoy a burger at one of the outdoor tables. Don't forget to bring a leash.
Garden City’s downtown is a perfect place to skip a day of exercise and treat yourself to a gastronomic adventure. Start your Fido-friendly food tour on 7th Street, full of unusual places with generous portions, such as Bagelman, serving freshly made muffins daily. Want something a little lighter? Go Greek is an authentic Greek café offering a wide variety of salads and dressings. Both cafes feature pet-friendly outdoor tables and are never empty! If you want something a little more chic, enjoy the posh allure of the outdoor patio at Revel Restaurant and Bar. All establishments welcome doggie diners as long as they are leashed and well-behaved. Bone appetit!
Running along Hempstead Lake, Lakeside Drive bumps into Southern State Parkway in South Hampstead, and leads to a doggie heaven on earth: Hempstead Lake State Park. This furrific park features an old-school wooden carousel, which is one of the favorite local attractions and a great place for pictures! Unlike many state parks, Hempstead Lake State Park has an area that's gone to the dogs (in the best way pawssible)! The Dog Area is located near Rockville Center and South Pond, which means your pup will have easy access to the water if they want to make a splash with their new furry friends. There are also plenty of hiking and biking trails around the pond and surrounding areas where you and Fido can play sleuth.
