Located midway between Columbus and Cleveland in Ohio, Mansfield sits in Richland County and is a lovely place to visit with a pet. There are three animal hospitals and a vet clinic in town, so help is never far away if your buddy feels unwell.

There are many community parks in town, but two of the best for visiting pups are South Park in the south end of town, and Liberty the north. Both have great picnic areas, shelters and playground equipment. Liberty Park also has grills and a kitchen area for cooking up a storm, and South Park has walking trails to explore as well. Your dog needs to stay leashed in both of these areas, but will have a great day out with you here.

If you are looking for a pup-friendly place to eat in Mansfield, there are seven to choose from! Oak Park Tavern, Doc’s Deli, Chipoltle Mexican Grill, Relax - It’s Just Coffee, Empress Express, Smokin’ Bros BBQ and Dairy Queen have every taste covered – all with tables outside where dog owners can enjoy their meal with pets by their side.
