Hello, my name is Dawn. I am so pleased to be at Wag! and to be able to spend time with your beloved dog! There has never been a time in my life that I haven't had a dog or cat. They have truly been my best friends and because of that I have volunteered at three different animal shelters and have also worked for Oregon Humane Society. I am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Hello! My name is Max, and I am a lifelong animal lover - my parents always had to make sure their friends knew I would jump at the chance to petsit for them! Though my living situation does not accomodate pets at the moment, I hope to give others' dogs all the attention and love I wish I could give a dog of my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry companion!

Dog Walking in Sandy

Serving as the western gateway to the Mount Hood Corridor, and only twenty miles east of Portland, Sandy is an amazing town to visit if you want to leave the busy cities behind and relax with your four-legged friend. There are two veterinarians that call Sandy home, perfect if your dog needs a health check-up.

The Sandy River Park is a great park to check out and enjoy with your dog. The 127-acre park sits right along the Sandy River, and offers the Jim Slagle Loop Trail that you and Fido can get a one-mile hike in on. The park is also covered in trees to help keep the two of you well shaded while you explore this lovely park together.

Stop into the Smoky Hearth Restaurant Bar and Grill and grab a bite to eat with your furry pal. Their menu has an array of food, including brick oven pizza or burgers, or healthier options like grilled chicken lettuce wraps. Their outdoor patio is dog-friendly and welcomes your pup to sit alongside you while you enjoy a meal.

Get a good night's rest at the Best Western Sandy Inn with Fido alongside you. They welcome you to check-in with your dog and spend a few nights resting up.

Sandy offers so many dog-friendly amenities, it may become one of your pup's favorite places to be!
