Sandlake
Take your pup out on a great hike through the Cape Lookout North Trail. The 5.2-mile trail will take you throughout the Cape Lookout State Park and around Cape Creek. There are ridges throughout the hike where you can get a great view of the ocean, and the path will take you through a great wooded area where you pup can explore. While hiking, your dog needs to stay on a leash, and make sure to bring water with you since none is available along the way. Your pup will love getting a good hike in with you on this beautiful trail.36

Cape Meares
The Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint is a beautiful beach to take your pup to for a fun afternoon out with you. This beach offers a great paved walking path that you and your dog can get a walk in on with a great scenic view of the ocean. The park also features a small lighthouse, and if you and your pup are interested, you can even take a tour. During certain months, you an see whales, seals, and sea lions from the beach but make sure your dog remains on leash as the beach is known to be popular with nesting birds.24

Cloverdale
Grab a bite to eat with your pup at the Pelican Brewery and Tap Room. They offer a menu with pub fare food and unique items like elk burgers and stout ice cream floats. They have an outdoor patio that welcomes your four legged friend to join you for a meal, and even offers a fresh bowl of water for your dog to enjoy. Take a nice walk after your meal at the Sue H. Elmore Park. The park offers a few picnic tables that owners can rest on, plus trees to help provide shade and a nice grass area where Fido can get a game of fetch in.12

Netarts / Oceanside
Hang out at Carnahan Park with your four legged friend by your side. The park offers a plethora of grass that your dog can run on and get a good game of fetch in. There is a nice walking path around the park where you and Fido can get a walk in, and they even offer clean-up bag stations for you in case you forget yours. The park sits along a river and offers a boat launch, so sometimes it may be a bite busy. Make sure to bring water with you since there isn't any shade at this park.
