Duff Park is another pawesome place to take your dog for an on-leash walk. This hilly park is 39 miles from Charleroi, and it has tons of trails to explore with your dog. If you’d rather take a walk along the water, head to Charleroi Trustees Community Park. This park has a walking path that goes along the Monongahela River, providing great views during your walk. After your pup is finished playing in the off-leash area, put their leash back on and take them for a stroll on one of South Park’s numerous trails. If you want to take a long walk through the forest, try the six-mile Bison Ridge Trail. Or, if you’d rather walk on a paved trail, check out the 1.75-mile Maple Spring Loop. Bring water and doggy bags, and have a good time walking here. After your walk, continue your fun day out with lunch at Hog Fathers BBQ of Canonsburg.
