Located along the Providence River, East Providence is a beautiful town with many pup-friendly activities. Keeping your pup happy and healthy is also important. There are two veterinarian clinics in town offering routine appointments and emergency services. If your pooch needs medical attention, you won’t have to drive far.

Residents of the area often spend time with their pooch at Bold Point Park on Waterfront Drive to enjoy the views of the Upper Narragansett Bay. You can stroll along the water and admire the boats, or watch the fisherman pulling in their catch. Fido can sniff the plants and flowers along the walkway while you relax on a bench and chat with friends.

When you are searching for a fun Fido-friendly place to eat, Madeira Restaurant offers excellent traditional Portuguese cuisine. You can order seafood and sit on the outdoor patio while your pup lounges underneath the table. If you are traveling and need pet-friendly accommodations, Extended Stay America welcomes two pets for an additional fee.

Rhode Island is a beautiful state, and East Providence offers several wonderful parks and fun activities for Fido and the family to enjoy.
