The village of Hope, within the town of Scituate, is in the central part of the state of Rhode Island. Settled in 1710, this area is well known for a famous governor, Stephen Hopkins, who signed the Declaration of Independence. This rural town is close to the city conveniences in Providence, but is unspoiled and friendly to all. If your pup is ever in need of care while you are visiting, there is one veterinarian in town ready to tend to all of Fido’s needs.

Spending some quality time with your pup in the great outdoors is easy at the Lawton Farm Recreation Area which has puptastic loop trails throughout. They all interconnect for a fun and exciting hike through Lawton Farm, and are suited to all pup-abilities. Fido will love taking the path which cross a stream, runs through the woods and out into open fields. Dogs are required to be on leash here.

For more adventure, visit Hope Park which offers a playground for the kiddies, plenty of open green spaces, and paved paths with fitness equipment that are situated alongside for your use.

Head to Hope for a great time in Rhode Island with your pawtastic pup.
