Dog Walking in Manville

Manville is a village in northeastern Rhode Island with a population of almost 4,000 people. It's located in Providence County in the town of Lincoln which has a population of over 21,000 people. Manville was primarily known as a mill village until the mill burned down in 1956. Today, there are several other businesses, including restaurants, cafes, and markets, in Manville. Manville is a pawesome place to live with your dog because there are so many sights to see in beautiful Rhode Island, and what better way to explore the outdoors than with your pet? There are a few veterinary offices in Lincoln that service all the villages in town and make sure your pup is always in good shape.

One of the best ways to get to know Manville is by traversing the Blackstone River Greenway. Former railway lines all across America have been converted into trails for public use, and the Blackstone River Greenway is one of 1,600 trails in the network. This 11.8-mile portion of the trail is accessible from Manville, and its asphalt surface is ideal for dog walking and biking. Along the trail, you'll come across beautiful and historic sites like old bridges, a museum, and a large brick textile mill.

Manville and the villages and towns surrounding it are sure to impress both you and your dog as you get to know the area together!
