Hardin includes single-family homes, public schools, some businesses, and a few churches. Farmland surrounds this rural area. The community offers country lanes where you can exercise with Spot. To share a wild adventure with your special pal, visit the McGuire Public Use Area in the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge. There's a part natural surface, part boardwalk hiking trail that leads through the property. You'll find a parking lot off County Road 2087 about four miles northwest of town. Dogs on a lead can accompany you in the facility. Bring water and bags to remove any waste when you come here.

The Fordland Estates neighborhood in Dayton is about 15.8 miles southwest of Hardin. This development has single-family homes, an elementary school, and some farms. The community roads include sidewalks where you and your fur-baby can enjoy an afternoon stroll together. On the north side of this area, you'll find Henderson Park. There are picnic facilities, soccer fields, open space, and trails in this pawesome property. Hook your pup on a leash and go hiking here. After roaming in the woods with your four-footed friend, share an outdoor meal at a table. Carry waste collection bags to clean up any droppings.

The Madison Court apartment complex in Dayton is on the west side of town near some wooded lots and an open field. There are small businesses, a fire department, and an elementary school close to the neighborhood. Just south of this area, you and your furry pal can visit Sawmill Road Park. This facility includes soccer fields, open space, and picnic tables. Kick the ball around in the grass with Spot for a while to get some fresh air, then have a snack together. Dogs that stay on a cord or lead can come with you when you visit here. The park doesn't provide waste bags, so please bring your own.

Linney Creek in Dayton is just 17 miles southwest of Hardin. There are single-family estates on partially wooded lots in this neighborhood. On a hot day, you can cool off in the city pool. A furrific place to spend some outside time with your pup is Daniels Park on Park Road. The pool is located on this property, and there are also athletic fields, open space, wooded sections, trails, and picnic facilities. There's plenty of room where you and Spot can go exploring here. Dogs must be leashed here. Unfurtunately, canine swimmers aren't allowed in the pool, but there's still plenty for them to do here!

The town of Liberty, about eight miles south of Hardin, includes residential, commercial, and administrative properties. There's a pawtastic recreational area in this community. Check out Liberty Municipal Park on Richard E Vinson Drive. In the facility, you'll find athletic fields, picnic tables, a three-acre lake, open space, and paved pathways that circle the property. Jog or walk on the trails and enjoy the scenery with your canine companion. You can also bring a kite and play in the grassy field. Finish your outing with a meal together. Pets on a lead can join you, provided that you remove their waste.
