For the past 20 years, I have owned dogs (6 total). A few I’ve gotten as puppies and trained them on my own. Others, I have adopted from shelters and have had to train them to change some unwanted behaviors they learned in the past (such as separation anxiety, barking at strangers, pulling a lot on leash, peeing/pooping in house). I find that one of the most important ways you can bond and establish communication with a dog is by walking them daily. I spend at least 30-60 minutes a day walking my dogs. I am very familiar with Park City and the areas best dog walking routes.

Hello, my name is Alexis Rague and I've been around animals my entire life! I was raised in a small valley on a farm where the animals I would care for ranged from baby goats to outdoor cats to fostering rescue dogs. Growing up meant being around animals 24/7, and we all had responsibilities as kids to take part in caring for them and making sure they had the highest quality of life. My highest level of experience comes from taking care of all the rescue dogs we had come through our home. We valued every life and I know what its like to take care of all kinds of dog breeds and whatever ailments they may or may not have. On that note, I was a dog-sitter, dog-walker, and even farm-keeper for a few years in my home town as a young 15 year old, so I have experience stepping out of my own home and caring for other people's fur-babies. In short, I know my way around all that fluff-and-stuff and would love to continue this around my new home in Portland!

Dog Walking in Clearfield

Clearfield is a midsized town in Davis County that borders the Hill Air Force Base. Since it sits between the front of the Wasatch mountain range and the Great Salt Lake, pups living in this area are lucky to be near miles of outdoor recreation.

Although Clearfield is only eight square miles, there are 17 parks within the city's boundaries. Next time your pooch is ready for some exercise, grab a leash and head over to Fox Hollow Park. Follow the paved walking path and let her expend some energy. Bernard F. Fisher Park is another pupperific option. A playground, soccer field, and walking path make this a great spot for an afternoon walk.

Canine health is a top priority for folks living in Clearfield. Fur-tunately, there are three well established veterinary clinics available. Clearfield Veterinary Clinic keeps dogs feeling their best through holistic wellness care, general surgeries and dental services. Animal Care Veterinary Hospital has your pup’s wellbeing in mind. With a host of doctors on hand, they are ready for whatever may come through their door. Quail Pointe Veterinary Hospital also offers a comprehensive list of services all aimed at keeping your fur baby in tip top shape.
