“Not to brag, but I can make tails wag!”
This past year I worked at a small pet store and walked dogs at an animal shelter where I used calm, assertive body language to establish trust quickly with new dogs and read their energies to make the walk a pleasant experience. I am an experienced Wag walker and anyone who has worked with me can attest to my calm, but energetic personality and professional work ethic. I want to assure you that I am covid cautious and stay at home outside of Wag walks and will always wear a mask in your home.

“A walk a day keeps the vet away!”
Hello pet parents! I have worked at a dog daycare where I was responsible for 40+ dogs at a time. Some of my responsibilities included watching all of the dogs to make sure that all the dogs are safe and happy, making feeding schedules, administering medications, and checking the dogs over for injuries. I'm very comfortable walking dogs of all ages and sizes. Old dogs or dogs with special needs or medications are no problem either. I would love to take care of your pup!

Throughout my life, I grew up with a variety of pets and have been an animal lover my whole life! I was born and raised in southeast WI and just graduated from the University of Michigan with my Master of Social Work. I currently have experience boarding and walking large and small dogs, some of which had special needs. While back in Wisconsin, I will be available in the Waukesha and Milwaukee area. I’m very excited to be apart of Wag and continue to expand my experience with dogs! I can’t wait to meet your dog
Hello, my name is Kim Denis and I LOVE dogs of all sizes. I have had at least one dog in my family for the majority of my life. My husband and I currently own two dogs. My husband and I fostered dogs for about two years. While I enjoyed doing this it was always tough letting dogs go when we had fostered the dogs for several months. I am also willing to dog sit.
The city of Oshkosh lays on the convergence of Lake Butte des Morts and Lake Winnebago, connected by the Fox River. During the 1900s, the city brought in plenty of businesses, like sawdust mills and brewing companies. One beer company coined the motto "Oh Gosh, it's good.", inspired by the city's name. What's so good about the city nowadays it the number of dog-friendly dog parks, trails, activities and six animal hospitals loated within.
The Winnebago County Dog Park is also known as the Best Friends Dog Park, and rests in the northern part of the city. The area is impressive when it comes to dog parks, with over 20 acres of fenced-in grassy fields. There are multiple areas with trails, open space, and shady trees. The entrance has a double-gate, and there are other amenities like dog-sized water fountains, trash bins, benches, picnic tables, and clean-up bags.

Marina District is a neighborhood on the corner of the convergence of the Fox River and Lake Butte des Morts. Right on the river lies Bauman Park, a small but spacey park with a baseball diamond, playground, and access for fishing. The quiet park is perfect for getting some one-on-one time with Fido, with additional features like water fountains and benches. The William A. Steiger Park is also on the edge of the water, with a trail the encircles the park and follows along the river. There is a large open space, benches, and water fountains for Fido. Dogs must remain on a leash inside both parks.
Middle Village is a neighborhood along the north side of Fox River, with access to shopping districts and busy streets. Right on the river is the Carl E Steiger Park, a large but scenic park with pretty views of the river that includes shaded sitting areas, a paved trail along the river, access to fishing, and a playground. The park connects to another dog-friendly park known as Shapiro Park, which also rests along the river. This park has larger open space, but less trees, with additional features like water fountains, and benches, Both parks are open from dawn until dusk and require dogs to be on a leash.
The Central Oshkosh neighborhood rests on the southern side of the Fox River at its convergence to the Winnebago Lake. Right on the river's edge is the Pioneer Drive Park. The park has a .3-mile trail that follows along the river, with shaded sitting areas and open space to run around. Dogs will have plenty of space to run around and play here, but don't forget to bring some water and clean-up bags. This neighborhood also houses Franklin Park, an area surrounded by residential homes with a looping trail and a fenced-in baseball diamond. There's extra open space, benches, and a playground in the park, with access to water fountains and benches.
The Downtown District of Oshkosh is a mixture of urban businesses and residential homes. It is also home to one of the largest parks in the city known as South Park. The park is a square area with three large ponds, a paved trail system, fenced-in tennis courts, open space, scattered trees for shade, a playground, two pavilions, and a gazebo. The park is dog-friendly and can get pretty popular among dog walkers during the day, although all pups must remain on a leash inside the park. The neighborhood of East Hall Park is in the northern part of the city, filled with lanes of residential homes. The neighborhood is named after the featured park known as East Hall Park. This large area has lots of space, with a sidewalk that encircles the park, four baseball diamonds, scattered trees, and water fountains. You and Fido will have plenty of room to run around and play, take a walk along the paths, or sit and relax under one of the large oak trees. The shop itself is dog-friendly, and they even offer treats for your pup while you walk around and browse!
