Kellners Corners

Kellners Corners is located in northwest Manitowoc. This residential neighborhood has streets lined with single-family homes where you and your pup can walk to get some fresh air. When you want to get some exercise while enjoying nature, head north about three miles to connect with the Devil's River State Trail. This 15-mile multi-use path is made of crushed stone.  As a part of the National Rails to Trails Conservancy, the trail allows dogs on a leash up to eight feet long. Walk or jog through farmland and wetlands with your furry friend. Make sure you bring water and waste bags with you for your outing.

New York Ave

The neighborhood around New York Avenue includes a few community parks, some small businesses, and quiet residential streets. There are sidewalks here where you and your pup can take a little stroll to stretch your legs. When you'd like to enjoy some green space, take your canine pal to Manitou Park off Michigan Avenue. This riverfront facility has open fields and a dock where you can drop a fishing line while your pooch relaxes at your side. Dogs on a leash are permitted in designated parts of this park. Make sure you bring waste bags and immediately clean up your four-footed companion's messes.

Henry Schuette Park and Playground

The area around Henry Scheutte Park includes single-family homes, an elementary school, and a few churches. Located near the Manitowoc River, this neighborhood is a peaceful place to share a walk with your dog. For some fresh air and exercise, head to Henry Schuette Park and hike along the trails here. Wander through the woods by the river and past open fields. Dogs can accompany you in designated areas of this facility as long as you keep them on a leash and under your control. You're responsible for cleaning up any waste, so remember to bring waste bags with you.

North 8th Street

In northern Manitowoc, the neighborhood around North 8th Street has a combination of private residences, multi-family dwellings, and trailer homes. This area of town borders farmland and the airport. There are quiet streets where you and your furry pal can go walking together. For a special treat, take your pooch to Indian Creek Park. You'll find a fenced dog run here where your special pal can play off-leash with other canines. You're welcome to walk through the rest of the park as long as you keep your dog on a leash. Remember to clean up your dog's waste when you visit this furiffic area.

Felician Village

Felician Village is a senior living community that's surrounded by single-family homes. This neighborhood offers peaceful streets where you and your furry friend can take a stroll together. If you want to enjoy the lake with your pooch, head to Red Arrow Park. You're permitted to bring dogs on a leash to designated areas in this facility, including the beachfront trail. This path continues south through the Red Arrow Conservancy. Follow the trail to get some exercise and fresh air with your special pal. Make sure you bring waste bags so that you can pick up any droppings when you visit this pawesome area.
