Other furrific facilities here include tennis courts, a pavilion and a playground for the kids. For a bite to eat, head on over to Sonny’s Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria. You can enjoy pizza, pasta, soups and sandwiches here, as well as tasty desserts for a treat. Your doggo can also sit with you at one of the outdoor tables at this waterfront spot. If you are visiting Sturgeon Bay and need a place to stay, check in to the White Birch Inn. Here you can bring two pups of any size for only a small additional fee. The Comfort Inn also offers dog friendly accommodation where you can bring canines weighing up to 30 Ibs for only a small additional fee per night.

Idlewild
To retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city with your furry friend, head to Potawatomi State Park when you are in Sturgeon Bay! This is a beautiful place to visit with your pooch since it has limestone cliffs, rolling terrain and lots of sniff-tastic trails you can explore. Your pup will love to investigate all of the scents and sights of nature, and you have the oppawtunity to spot the wildlife that lives here and go fishing. All canines can be top dog here, as long as they remain on leash. To extend your stay, camp at the Potawatomi State Park Campground. Sturgeon Bay City Center
You can’t visit Sturgeon Bay without a trip to the furrific Sunset Park! Here you can head to the puptastic Parador where you can enjoy some delicious dishes, such as fish and chips, Spanish flatbreads and chicken cobbler. Of course, there are a lot of tables outside where your furry friend is welcome to join you! Casey’s BBQ and Smokehouse is another furrific spot in town where you can tuck into beef brisket, ribs, pulled port and smoked chicken. The ruby burger is also a local favorite! Your pup can chill out with you at one of the eight outdoor tables.
