For a pawsome trip to the park with your beloved companion, head to Otumba Park! Here your pooch will love to run and roam on the grass, as well as sniff around the trees. Other furrific facilities here include tennis courts, a pavilion and a playground for the kids. For a bite to eat, head on over to Sonny’s Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria. You can enjoy pizza, pasta, soups and sandwiches here, as well as tasty desserts for a treat. Your doggo can also sit with you at one of the outdoor tables at this waterfront spot. If you are visiting Sturgeon Bay and need a place to stay, check in to the White Birch Inn. Here you can bring two pups of any size for only a small additional fee. The Comfort Inn also offers dog friendly accommodation where you can bring canines weighing up to 30 Ibs for only a small additional fee per night.

Idlewild
To retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city with your furry friend, head to Potawatomi State Park when you are in Sturgeon Bay! This is a beautiful place to visit with your pooch since it has limestone cliffs, rolling terrain and lots of sniff-tastic trails you can explore. Your pup will love to investigate all of the scents and sights of nature, and you have the oppawtunity to spot the wildlife that lives here and go fishing. All canines can be top dog here, as long as they remain on leash. To extend your stay, camp at the Potawatomi State Park Campground. Some of the sites have electricity and showers, and all welcome pups to stay.

Sturgeon Bay City Center
You can’t visit Sturgeon Bay without a trip to the furrific Sunset Park! This pawsome lakefront site is paradise for your pooch since there is open green grass for rolling and roaming, as well as enough room to play fetch with a ball or Frisbee. There is also a pathway that leads all around the park where you can enjoy some exercise and stretch your pup’s legs. Other pawsome amenities here include disc golf, baseball fields, a pavilion and tennis courts. For some tasty grub, head over to the Stone Harbor Restaurant. They serve some delicious steaks, seafood, pasta and chicken dishes here, and has lots of outdoor tables where your canine is welcome to join you.

For an adventure with your furry friend, head to the Whitefish Dunes State Park in Sturgeon Bay! Here your pooch is allowed to explore the beautiful sandy beach with you at selected times of the year. Your pup will love the feeling of sand under his paws, and can make a splash in the water! All canines can be top dog here, as long as they remain on leash. If you get hungry, head to Valmy Happy Hour! This place serves up pawsome comfort food and you can enjoy a refreshing beverage outside with your beloved companion.
Egg Harbor
If you are looking for some pawsome new dog friendly eateries you can try, jump in the car with your pooch and head next door to the puptown of Egg Harbor! Here you can head to the puptastic Parador where you can enjoy some delicious dishes, such as fish and chips, Spanish flatbreads and chicken cobbler. Of course, there are a lot of tables outside where your furry friend is welcome to join you! Casey’s BBQ and Smokehouse is another furrific spot in town where you can tuck into beef brisket, ribs, pulled port and smoked chicken. The ruby burger is also a local favorite! Your pup can chill out with you at one of the eight outdoor tables.
