Located just north of Green Bay, the city of De Pere is a wonderful community for owners and their dogs to live or visit. With a local dog park and access to three nature trails, you and Fido will have ample opportunity to go outside and get some exercise.

When you want to get out of town and hike a puptacular trail, head 11.7 miles north to the community of Howard and hop on the Mountain-Bay Recreational Trail. This scenic pathway stretches over 80 miles from Howard to Weston. Dogs are welcome, provided they're on a leash and you clean up after them.

About four miles east of De Pere, in the neighborhood of Bellevue, Green Bay, you can take Fido to a 6.5-acre off-leash dog park. The Laura & Peter Mossakowski Family Dog Park has two play areas: one for dogs under 30 pounds, and one for dogs of all sizes. Let your canine friend enjoy some time socializing with other four-footed friends here!

If you're in the area to visit St. Norbert College, whether it's to catch a Packer game or for some other reason, the Kress Inn has pet-friendly accommodations for dogs up to 40 pounds in some of their rooms on the first floor. Check with the hotel for information about additional fees.
