The Midland Trail City Park is tucked in at a convergence in Hurricane Creek in the southern section of Hurricane. It is a well-kept, clean park worthy of a visit with your pup for an on-lead walk or picnic stop. Much of the park is flat wooded area, but covers over 10 acres, so there’s plenty to explore! Restrooms are on site at Midland Trail City Park for your convenience, and baseball fields add extra open play space. During the summer, your kids will love playing in the splash park. Bring waste disposal bags and pick up after your pet when out and about to keep the place tidy for future visitors.

Milton
April Dawn Park in Milton is just seven miles east of Hurricane and a beautiful park to visit. There is ample open space here for a game of catch with your pet, or take a walk around the grounds together. Picnic tables and benches provide a lovely place to sit and enjoy a rest, and a small playground and skate park will keep the kids happy too.
