Maxbone Decagon Rubber Toy in mint
Why Wag! loves Maxbone Decagon Rubber Toy
- The natural food-grade silicone is non-toxic and won't bruise your baby's gums when they get a little too rowdy
- Let's just face it — it's adorable. Its modern yet timeless simple design will look aesthetic on your rug rather than being an eyesore
- Comes in 4 super cute colors, including lilac, mint, yellow, peach, and, my personal favorite, red
- Equal parts durable and fashionable
Considerations and concerns
- It is on the smaller side, so it may not be appropriate for extra large or giant breeds — we'd love to see it offered in multiple sizes!
- Only availble through the Maxbone website
Chuckit! Max Glow Ball (pack of 2)
Why Wag! Loves Chuckit! Ma
- Compatible with the Chuckit! ball launcher (there's also a glow-in-the-dark launcher to match!)
- This product is heavy chewer approved and also comes in a squeaky version!
- This ball floats in the water, making it perfect for an evening at the lake (or even to occupy your baby during bath time!)
- It comes in 4 different sizes (and Chewy even offers a handy size chart to ensure the pawfect fit for your pup)
Considerations & concerns
- Will need to prime the ball in direct sunlight or artificial light for at least 5 minutes before using for a bright glow
- Not super bouncy
Kong Puppy Binkie in blue
Why Wag! Loves Kong Puppy Binkie
- Comes in baby blue and baby pink to match your pup's favorite accessories
- Can be stuffed with peanut butter, spray cheese, yogurt, or training treats
- Made of the same durable rubber as the Kongs we know and love
- Gentle on gums
Considerations and concerns
- Only comes in small and medium sizes, so it's not suitable for larger puppies or large adults
- Due to its shape, this toy can be tricky to clean
- Not recommended for dogs over 9 months
- The hole is quite small, so this toy is better for spreads or wet food rather than training treats or kibble
PetSafe Busy Buddy Barnacle Treat Dispenser
Why Wag! Loves PetSafe Busy Buddy Barnacle Treat Dispenser
- Multiple compartments make this toy a delicious challenge
- Strong enough to withstand chew-happy canines
- The toys are inspected by a third-party lab to ensure safety
- The Busy Buddy comes in several sizes, so the toys in this product line can grow with your baby
Considerations and concerns
- Due to the shape and design of the compartments, this toy does not work with all treats
- The tiny compartments may make this toy challenging to clean, especially if you use cheese or peanut butter spreads
Kong Extreme
Why Wag! Loves Kong Extreme
- Super chewers of every shape and size can rejoice since the Kong Extreme comes in 5 different sizes!
- One of the most durable toys on the market (hence why it's been a favorite of pet parents for decades!)
- Kong toys are super versatile and can be filled with treats, meats, cheese, dog food, and more!
- The Kong website even has a whole section dedicated to yummy, stuffable recipes for your Kong
Considerations and concerns
- Not super exciting to look at and only comes in 1 color
- Since it's made of natural rubber, it could potentially cause a latex allergy reaction in humans
