North Anahola
North Anahola is a tranquil and beautiful spot for you to take your dog on a weekend adventure after a long and stressful week. Make sure you bring plenty of waste bags as you meander over to Aliomanu Bay. You can enjoy the beaches or the trails in this area with your dog right next to you enjoying the sea air all afternoon. Kuaehu Point has some of the prettiest seaside sunsets in all of Kauai, so be sure to walk over in that direction when you notice that the day is coming to an end. Your dog may even demand a sunset selfie!36

West Anahola
West Anahola is situated in the corner of the Moloaa Forest Reserve. You will find Hole-In-The-Mountain is a wonderful forest area where you can walk and hike around with your trusty canine companion and a group of dog-loving friends. You will all need to bring harnesses for your dogs to make sure everyone is able to maneuver through the terrain comfortably. You will also need your doggy waste bags and plenty of clean drinking water for everyone to enjoy when you stop to take in the view. Snacks are always recommended, especially if you plan on being gone most of the day.24

Central Anahola
Central Anahola is another great place for you and your dog to explore together. The town is close to schools and yoga studios, as well as rivers that you can stop and check out on your way home with your dog. If you are headed home after a day at the beaches and want to get a bite to eat in Central Anahola, Duane's Ono-Char Burger is a great roadside stop where you can get a great burger and enjoy it with your dog at the outdoor tables. Just don't forget to bring a collapsible water bowl with you.12

East Anahola
East Anahola has the best access to the Anahola Beach and is also home to the Anahola Beach Park. This series of trails follows the length of the beach and provides you and your dog a place to find some shade during the heat of the day as you walk underneath the trees. You will need plenty of waste bags, and your pup will need to stay with you on-leash for the duration of your visit. If you plan on swimming or wading with your dog, you will want plenty of towels as well. Pack plenty of supplies and prepare to have a doggone good time here!
