The Freddie's Dog Park is a phenomenal place to take Fido for some off leash fun and to meet other dogs. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, plus benches, a pavilion for shade, and a doggie pool to help keep your pup cool. Your dog will love running around all the grass the the park is filled with, but you do need a membership before you enter. Make sure to bring water for you dog and don't forget your clean-up bags. After a fun day out at the park, stop into Uncle's Shave Ice for a tasty treat that you and Fido can share.

Nawiliwili Ahupua'a

Get a good walk in at the Nawiliwili Park with your furry pal. The park offers a beach, grassy area, palm trees for shade, and a port so you both can watch the boats come in. Get a good walk in on the walking path. Stop into Papalani Gelato-Anchor Cove which offers some amazing gelato that you and Fido can share together. Pietro's Pizza Kauai offers delicious New York Style pizza that features both a tradition and casual dining experience. Both of these delicious restaurants offer dog friendly patios for you and Fido to relax and eat a good meal.

Downtown Lihue

The Kalena Park offers a basketball court, pavilion for shade, restrooms, and a playground. Take Fido on a good walk throughout the park on the walking trail. Your pup will love playing fetch on all of the grass. The Lihue County Park offers great athletic fields, grass, and restrooms for your and Fido's enjoyment. You dog will love walking around this park and sniffing all the new smells, plus get a good walk in. Don't forget your clean-up bags when you visit both parks. If you get a little hungry, The Greenery Cafe is right down the street from these great parks.

Kalena St/ Rice St

If Fido gets a little hungry while the two of you are exploring Lihue, stop into the Kauai Beer Company for some delicious food. This pawsome brewery offers seasonal beers, plus meals that are cooked with locally sourced ingredients. They also have monthly events, so make sure to check the calendar before you show up, as it may be busy. Ha Coffee Bar sells coffee and a selection of tea and food. They offer a rotating menu with locally sourced ingridents inside of a laid back bar seating. Ha Coffeee Bar offers games to play when you are relaxing, and welcomes your dog inside.

Pua Loke St/ Awapuhi St

Take Fido on an amazing day at the Pua Loke Park. This beautiful park offers a basketball court and a covered picnic area for your enjoyment. If Fido loves running on grass and playing fetch, then he is going to love this park since it is filled with grass that he can play on. The park is fenced in, so no need to worry about Fido escaping, and be sure to bring plenty of water and some clean-up bags with you when you head over to visit. Although this park is on the smaller side, your pup will still have fun in it with you.
