You'll have plenty of pet-friendly places to chews from, including 16 dog-friendly restaurants and 14 dog-friendly parks. Corey Hill Outlook Park is definitely a lovely morning walk for you and your four-legged fur ball. If you decided to walk there, the route will take you up the beautiful Summit Avenue. On the way back, you can visit a variety of cafes on Coolidge Corner. Brookline runs a "green dog tag" program, and all off-leash dogs must have this tag; for more information, visit the official webpage for the city of Brookline.

Callahan State Park

Framingham is certainly a dog-friendly spot to visit, as it's home to 6 pet-friendly restaurants and one of the finest parks in the area. Callahan State Park has got to be the biggest attraction in this area, boasting an 820-acre expanse. This pawesome state park is only an 11-minute drive from Framingham city center. Your pup is permitted to walk off-leash throughout the park, but dogs must be under strict voice command. Your bounding buddy will have to get back on the leash if you want to explore the bike and horse trails. This park is a real treat, and you'd be barking mad to miss it!

Lincoln

Lincoln is a real nature lovers' place to be, perfect for you and your prized pooch to get some a breath of fresh air. Although there are no pet-friendly hotels or motels here, there are holiday rental accommodations available. Lincoln is right beside a large nature preserve and has a 15-mile hiking trail with a nice, easy gradient; dogs are welcome here, but only on leash. One of Lincoln’s finest attractions is the deCordova Sculpture Park. This park is the largest of its kind in New England and contains sculptures ranging from 30 ft tall to just 1 ft. Dogs are welcome, but only on leash.

Wellesley

Wellesley is a real beauty of a city to visit with your fetching friend. Although it doesn’t have any of its own doggie parks, there is a stunning park run by the horticultural society -- The Gardens at Elm Bank -- which welcomes dogs. There are also 8 dog-friendly restaurants to choose from, too. You’re also not far from several dedicated doggie parks. The Gardens at Elm Bank Estate really are a stunning sight, particularly in the fall. You and your furry friend (who must be on their leash at all times, unfortunately) will be in for a treat at this award-winning colonial estate house, with its manicured gardens, lawns and topiary hedges.

Weston

Weston is another picturesque New England town that’s well worth a visit with your furry friend. Although there are no pet-friendly hotels here, there are 5 in nearby Waltham (around a 4-minute drive from Weston). The best thing about this town for you and your canine companion is Cat Rock Park (ironic that that’s the name of a dog park!), which is highly rated by both locals and visitors alike. This huge, 130-acre park is peppered with meadows and forest trails to explore, and even has a clean lake and a river so your pooch can make a splash! Just remember to keep your pup within voice command range.
