Delphi Falls is a quiet village that is graced with natural beauty and serene peace. It is a place which proves that, if enough people rally together, anything is possible. In 1881, this was simply a quaint village which was home to handful of people. It was the women of the village that turned it into something more. They held fundraisers for materials. They laid the planks to act as sidewalks. They planted the flowers. It was the women who acted in an unladylike manner that caused this city to flourish and become what it is today!

If you're looking for somewhere to unplug, then this is the place for you to come. Need a place to stay while you're here? Ozark Country Inn is pet-friendly! You can find some mutts-needed peace and quiet here. When you get ready for some socializing, take your pet for a walk through the city. You will find that this tree-lined city is a nice place to walk. You can go to city hall and pick up points of interest paper that will highlight the historic buildings and plaques that are available in the city. By the time your vacation is over, you will feel relaxed and ready to get back to your daily routine.

It's high time you and your pal enjoyed some finger-licking BBQ! There is just one place to go, and that is Dinosaur Bar-b-que. They have a huge outdoor seating area where you can bring your dog to enjoy some ribs, pulled pork, or even chicken. It is all cooked in their signature sauce that will have your mouth watering as you read the menu. Make sure you bring a water dish for your pup. You'll most likely have to wait for a table because this is a pawpular place! They tend to be busiest on the weekends, so be sure to call ahead or plan on waiting fifteen minutes or so for a table.

Green Lakes State Park was carved out of the ground by glaciers. You can fish at the beautiful lakes, walk the trails, and just relax in nature with your pal by your side. You will need to keep your dog on his leash while you are here. There is no running water, so you will need to bring your own with you. This about a thirty-minute drive from Delphi Falls, but it is so worth the drive to have room to roam and play. Don't forget to bring your camera with you because there is wildlife everywhere here, as well as many scenic spots!

Want to take your adorable dog on a dinner date? Then you should check out Limp Lizard BBQ! It is about a thirty-minute drive to get here, but it is well worth it. They have delicious BBQ, but they also have burgers that are made fresh and delicious. Oh, and they have tacos. Everyone loves tacos! You can bring your dog to eat with you out on the patio. Just bring a water bowl for your pup. Try to resist your canine companion's puppy dog eyes while he begs for a bite from your plate!

Are you ready for an adventure? Do you love bird-watching, fishing, and exploring nature? Then you simply have to come to Clark Reservation! It is less than a twenty-minute drive away, but you will want to plan to spend the day. Bring your dog and his leash along! He will absolutely love running and playing with you as you travel the trails and explore the afternoon away. There are no water fountains, so you will need to bring your own water. You will also need to bring baggies to clean up after your dog. This is a great place to visit all year long, but it is especially beautiful in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom!

The Rails-to-Trails conservation effort started the Canalway Trail system in 2016. The original path which snakes along the Erie Canal was set in place in 1825. The former rail line is now a network of walking trails which span about 360 miles. These trails are paved and ready for you and your dog to explore! You can access the trail just a little over 20 minutes away, in the nearby town of Dewitt. There are water fountains and public restrooms at stopping points along the trail, and even a park in Syracuse, but you should carry water with you.
