Norcross is a small Georgia town that, for over 150 years, has provided an escape from the bustling city life of nearby Atlanta. Originally a retreat town, today Norcross’ 10,000 residents enjoy rural life with their four-legged friends.
Norcross has two separate dog parks, each beloved by locals. Graves Park has a unique setup: the typical large and small dog play areas, and an additional mixed-play area. The mixed-area is massive, so its’ perfect for breeds that love to run and play. In addition, a 1.25-mile winding nature walk reaches the park and provides a lovely opportunity for some on-leash adventure. Amenities include water fountains for both pets and people, benches, and an agility play course.
The other park is called the Pinckneyville Dog Park. It is more heavily-used than Graves Park and is located more centrally in the area. The park itself covers almost 60 acres of land and includes a roller hockey rink, beautiful ponds, restrooms, and pavilions. The dog park section is quite expansive and is divided into a small dog section and a large dog section. In addition, there is running water for the pets and a small obstacle course. Make sure to keep dogs on leash when entering and exiting the parking lot, as the park is usually pretty busy, especially in the skating areas.

Hi, I'm Lindsey and I have been with rescues for 11 years. I have experience with all different sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs. Animals are my life and it is evident by how much time I spend of my life working with them. I currently work part time as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital. I have been both a volunteer and a doggy foster mom with rescue for many years. I have fostered over 300 dogs. Caring for dogs is my passion in life and I love what I do.
Hi! I'm Isis. I've had a dog since I was 9 (currently 25) but now that I'm older and doing a lot of travel it's hard to keep one, so I'd love to walk yours! I'll be walking in Atlanta, New York & Los Angeles, see you there!
