Most people who live in Townsend were born there, and it isn't hard to see why people choose to stay there! There's plenty of affordable housing in Townsend, and it's also close to cities like Worcester and Manchester where people commute to for work. Most homes in Townsend are single-family homes, and many of the families in town have four-legged members! If you drive 15 miles north of Townsend into Nashua, New Hampshire, you'll arrive at Mine Falls Park in the town's center. Mine Falls Park is a 325-acre park with dog walking, hiking and biking trails, fishing facilities, and a beautiful waterfall.
