“Let’s take care of business-Prepare for pettings!”

Hello my name is Jordan. I am a 29 year old from Dracut. My family lost both our dogs recently, it’s been heart breaking. I missed the sound of their paws clicking across the floor excited to greet me. I really miss spending time with my four legged family and walking some new friends brightens this dark spot. Can’t wait to meet you and thanks so much for your time!

Dog Walking in Merrimack

Merrimack is a vibrant and friendly town, packed with plenty of natural beauty. With numerous parks and nature reserves to visit, as well as dog-friendly restaurants and three veterinary hospitals, this is a town that your pooch will end up loving even more than you will.

If you and your pooch enjoy taking a walk on the wild side, spend some time at the Horse Hill Nature Preserve, which stretches out for 563 acres. The terrain is hilly but quite varied here, with forests, wetlands, streams, ponds and more. The walking trails in this nature preserve are old logging roads, and these cover the majority of the grounds, making it easy to thoroughly explore the park.

The 87 acre Wildcat Falls Conservation Area is also popular with the pooches of Merrimack. This is a pawsome spot for bird watching, as well as picking wild blueberries, and there are several unmaintained hiking trails meandering through the grounds.

For pups who prefer urban walks, Veterans Memorial Park is one of the most scenic parks in Merrimack, thanks to Naticook Lake lying at the center of it. The park is home to a playground, picnic areas, a boat ramp, and sports fields, as well as a walking trail that follows along the edge of the lake.

With so much to see and do in Merrimack, this town will definitely keep you and your pooch busy.
