Mast Road
The Piscataquog River Park, in the Mast Road neighborhood of the nearby city of Manchester, offers a lovely place to stroll along the Piscataquog River. Pup-friendly, this park is also where the Piscataquog Trail is located. It is a dedicated, paved trail that is 10’ wide and links visitors to all the amenities downtown Manchester has to offer. This trail is 2.1 miles long and is perfect for any pup skill level! It also connects with the Goffstown Rail Trail and can take you all the way to the town of Goffstown just west of this neighborhood.

South Beech Street
Two lovely parks lie in the South Beech Street neighborhood of the adjacent city of Manchester. Take your pup to Brown and Mitchell Park for some open space exercise on its sports field. Be sure to clean up after Fido and keep him on a leash. Or try Kalivas Park and stroll on their paved paths around area monuments, or just relax on the grassy areas throughout. Take a book to read and just chill with your fur-ever friend. When you get hungry, Starbucks, Panera Bread and Cold Stone Creamery are ready to fill your tummies, and offer dog-friendly dining.

Grasmere
The Grasmere neighborhood of the town of Goffstown, just north of Bedford, offers Briar Court Open Space, Cinnamon Woods Open Space, Flagstone Meadows Open Space and Ruth’s Meadows Open Space. Dedicated to offering undeveloped land to its residents and visitors, these open spaces are great to take your fur-iendly friend to rejuvenate in their peaceful environments! Fido can roam here off leash, on voice command. Be sure to pack water for these rural outings. Hungry yet? Head over to either The Village Trestle or Vikster’s Pizza. Both offer a dog-friendly atmosphere with outdoor dining tables to enjoy your meal together.

Hardy Road
Take your pup to the Hardy Road neighborhood to visit the Spring Hill Road and Randolph Commons Open Spaces. These areas are dedicated to just enjoying nature at its finest. Or head to the Ash Bog Conservation area with its 14 acres of surrounding land, seasonal pond and short loop trail. And finally, your pup will love a longer hike at the Earl G. Legacy Park. This complex has 63 acres of sports fields, a dedicated skateboarding park, and three miles of trails. The Cross-Country Ski Club uses these trails in the winter, so they are well-maintained!

South River Road
The South River Road neighborhood offers you and your pup a fine outdoor adventure at the Reeds Ferry State Forest. Formerly called the Dumpling Brook Wildlife Management Area, it is made up of 188 acres of mostly flatlands which are great for a day’s hike. Make your way past running streams through this wooded area. Because this is a rural forest, there are no restroom facilities or available water, so plan accordingly. It is best to bring a picnic lunch, snacks and plenty of bottled water to share. Fido is welcome to visit this forest off leash on voice command.
