Mayflower, Arkansas is a small city in Faulkner County, Arkansas. This city is rich in history as it was settled in 1778 on Choctaw Indian land. Later sold to the government, settlers arrived and found Mayflower to be full of rich soil, standing timber that was later used to fuel steam engines, excellent hunting spots, and plenty of fresh water. This rural city boasts dog-friendly people and quiet area lakes. If there are any health concerns with your pup, there is one veterinarian.

Mayflower offers residents and visitors a couple beautiful small parks. Frank Pierce Park has a walkway which connects to the local post office and elementary school, playground equipment with recycled mulch, and lots of open space to chill out. Blue Star Park is the place to take your pup to find open areas, with a surrounding border of white picket fences, for lounging and relaxing on their park benches.

Bring a pup-friend and head north to the city of Conway for some pet-friendly dining at Slim Chickens at their 15 outdoor tables or grab Fifi a ‘pupcake’ at PattiCakes Bakery and eat at their outdoor patio tables.

Head to Mayflower with your pup for a fun adventure today!
