Center Ridge, Arkansas is a small community that has been around for centuries; in fact, archeological digs in Center Ridge have shown that there have been settlements here since before the European settlers arrived. However, it wasn't until the 1800s that the land was surveyed and found to be good for sustaining a settlement with farms and cattle herding.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to do in town for you and your pet. There is only one pet-friendly accommodation in town, so if that doesn't suit your needs, you'll have to travel to a nearby city. The Bucket List restaurant is one of three restaurants in town, but it is the only dog-friendly one. All of their outdoor tables welcome you and your dog to dine together. This hidden gem serves classic Southern fare, like country fried steaks and beef tips with rice. The restaurant may be small, but the taste is big!

Right at the city line, you will find Pinnacle Mountain State Park and the Base Trail. It is the only one of the three trails that you can walk with your dog. It is a moderately difficult, 1.25-mile trail that leads up the mountain.

You and your hound will love exploring the dog-friendly amenities in and around Center Ridge!

Just over twenty-five miles away is a well-preserved piece of nostalgia. The Purple Cow in Conway is a retro diner where you and your hound can chow down. You do have to keep your dog on a leash while you are here, but if you share your burger, she won't mind! This is a family restaurant. #2 Don Owen Sports Complex

The Don Owen Sports Complex in Conway has a new addition: the Conway Dog Park. This is a city dog park that's open to the public. You will find two play areas, each with their own water station and doggie clean-up station. There are benches for you to sit on and watch your pet play. The agility equipment can be used to play or for you to train your dog. The best part -- all dogs' favorite part -- is that this is an off-leash area where your pup can just run and run without a care. The park is open daily from dawn till dusk.
