Dardanelle City Center
To get out and explore Dardanelle, be sure to visit the River Front Park! This is a pawsome place where there is plenty of grass for your pooch to roll and roam, as well as a walking path that you can enjoy. This is a puptastic place for a leisurely stroll where you can admire views of the Arkansas River! Another furrific green spot in town you can visit with your furry friend is the Riverview Recreation Area! Here, stretch your's and your pup’s legs while exploring nature, and take advantage of the fishing oppawtunity. There are picnic areas where you can enjoy a treat, as well as having the Riverview Recreation Area Campground where you and your pooch are welcome to camp out under the stars.

Mount George/ Chickalah
When you are in Dardanelle, you have got to visit the pawsome Mount Nebo State Park! You can go on an adventure here with your pooch and explore the 14 miles of sniff-tastic trails for tails that are here. There are beautiful views from the top where you can look over the city, as well as trails that wind down through the woods so your furry friend has plenty of investigating to do. All pups can be top dog at Mount Nebo State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash. Be sure to remember treats and water for your hike with your canine!

If your beloved canine loves the outdoors, then there is no better place to go in Dardanelle than the Lake Dardanelle State Park! Here you can enjoy the sniff-tastic hiking trail with your pup and retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as take the oppawtunity to go fishing or just admire the beautiful views of the Arkansas River. You can also stop and have a rest and treat at one of the picnic areas in the park with your furry friend. All pooches are welcome to explore at Lake Dardanelle State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash.

Russellville is just on the other side of the Arkansas River and you have got to stop for a treat! To reward yourself, which not take a trip to Freddo’s Frozen Treats? This is a pawsome place where you can tuck into some frozen yogurt, Italian gelato and your favorite retro candies. You won’t be able to say no to the delicious flavors here, such as birthday cake, peanut butter cup, triple chocolate and cappuccino espresso. Of course, your furry friend is welcome at this dog friendly place, and there are three outdoor tables where you can sit and relax with you beloved companion!

For a pawsome day out with your furry friend, jump in the car and head over to the puptown of Russellville! This is not far from Dardanelle, and is home to the pawsome Hickey Park Pool! This is a puptastic place to bring your beloved companion for some playtime and has open grass where your pup can run and roam. There are also some trees that are worth investigating! In addition, there are furrific amenities here, such as baseball fields, a playground for the kids, restrooms and a pavilion where you can chill out and enjoy a treat with your pup.
