Tumacacori
Take a hike through the Southwest Parks and Monuments with Fido by your side. This small park doesn't offer a ton of amenities, but it does have a nature trail that the two of you can use for a great walk together. The park sits right outside of the Tumacacori National Historical Park, and the nature trail that takes you through the Southwest Park connects to the Anza Trail. Make sure that your pup stays on a leash while you are hiking through the park, and be sure to bring water for you both.

Tubac
The Tubac Presidio State Historical Park is a dogtastic park to visit with your pup alongside you. The park has several trailheads that you can use for a hike, and over 4-miles of trails to explore, with maps available. One trail will take you across the Santa Cruz River where you and Fido can stop to cool off. The park also has a few benches and picnic tables near the southern end where you can sit down and relax before heading home. This puptastic park is located in Tubac, and only three miles out of Tumacacori.

Patagonia
Head out to the Sonoita Creek State Natural Area for a great day out with your dog. This natural area has a ton of amenities that Fido will love exploring with you, and even offers restrooms, exhibits, and a visitor center. The natural area overlooks the Patagonia Lake where you can sit down at one of the picnic tables and enjoy a meal together before going out onto the hiking trails. If you and your pup enjoy the park, you can even spend a few nights there and rent out a campsite. The Sonoita Creek State Natural Area is in Patagonia, and only thirty miles out of Tumacacori.

Sasabe
Spend a day exploring the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge with your pup by your side. The park has great amenities like hunting, camping, environmental education, and wildlife watching. Take a hike along the numerous hiking trails that are sprawled throughout the park and get a good walk in together. While out at this park, your dog needs to remain on a leash, and be aware that horses frequent the area. Located in Sasabe, and only thirty miles out from Tumacacori, your dog will love spending time out at this area.

Head over to the Camp Little Park for a fun day out with your dog. The park has a covered picnic area, playground, a small grass area, and a nice paved walking path around the park. There are benches along the path that you and relax on while you are walking with your dog. The Teyechea Park offers two playgrounds, a baseball field, a basketball court, a picnic area with BBQs, and a small hiking trail that your dog will love going to explore. Check out Anza Park with Fido and enjoy the picnic area, playground, and numerous sports courts while you are there.
